History of Rumi House

Rumi House was established in 2022, at the threshold of Nowruz and the arrival of spring, in a context where the celebration of Nowruz had been banned by the Taliban. It was founded through the collective initiative of writers and cultural figures, with a clear mission to safeguard the rich cultural heritage of our Country world and to support the creative work of poets, authors, and intellectuals. From its inception, the institution has focused on cultural preservation, literary production, and the promotion of intellectual dialogue. Since its foundation, Rumi House has successfully organized numerous cultural programs, honored distinguished cultural personalities, and produced high-quality documentaries. It has also expanded its presence internationally by establishing an office in the United States, thereby extending its activities to a global level. Today, Rumi House stands as a recognized cultural institution dedicated to the protection of heritage, the encouragement of literary and artistic creation, and the strengthening of cultural identity across generations.
